3. How long does a battery desulphation repairing process?
It depends on the battery type, Capacity Volume and battery sulphaion conditions. This is not fixed and our different device application with different desulphation cycle time because of using different pulsating current
On average, if you use our off line battery repair system:
1) 12/16V 4.5~30 Ah battery, the desulphation time of repairing process is about 24~48hours
2) 12V 20~300Ah battery, the desulphation time of repairing process is about 48~72hours
3) 2V 200~1000Ah battery, the desulphation time of repairing process is about 4 Days
If you use our battery protectors and smart chargers, it is working anytime and anyplace 24hour every day. And After installed more than 1-3 months, the battery will be desulfated and kept in peak conditions

6.Which product should I use when storing my car or truck for long periods of time?
We suggest you use the 12V Battery Digital Pulse Charger (Model:12VC300Ah) if stored indoors with access to AC power and when it is fully charged, it is better to be recovered by our device of 12V Battery repair instrument for 24~36hours when you have enough time. Besides preventing sulfation buildup, they also prevent the normal loss of battery power no matter how long your vehicle or equipment sits unused -- even months at a time.

9.Outside of sulfation damage, what are other common causes of battery failure that Daceen-sz Technology will help?
Other common causes of battery failure (plates softening, shedding and overcharging, etc.) are directly related to sulfation buildup. For example, according to Authoritative electrochemical works named [Battery Manuel" by Tianjin University, softened plates may be caused by: "being overcharged while sulfated or stored in a deeply discharged state." Sulfate buildup weakens the plates to a point where batteries must be overcharged to accept energy. This will then overheat and warp, or "soften," the plates. This [Battery Manuel" works also relates shedding of the plates to sulfation buildup. It states that, "If material has shed from the plates in small chunks, high charging rates on sulfated plates can be the cause."
All in all, each of these and other common causes can be avoided in most cases through the use of our products. And the earlier you use our products to your battery, the longer life will be extended.
10.Outside of Flooded batteries, will Daceen-sz products work on GEL or AGM cell batteries?
They work on any types of lead-acid battery even if the lead carbon battery. This includes all common flooded lead-acid batteries and sealed "maintenance-free" batteries, including VRLA, Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) and GEL cell battery types.
11. How quickly will sulfation buildup occur on a brand new battery? And how quickly will sulfation re-buildup occur after being repaired?
The rate of sulfation buildup on a battery will vary greatly depending on battery state of charge, usage, age and condition. It will occur faster on batteries that are used infrequently.
Also, keep in mind that even brand new batteries must already be sulfated when they are installed in applications or in transit of logistic .So, since sulfation buildup is likely to occur whenever batteries are neglected for long periods of time, it can happen in a battery whole life whenever it used or not.
The real question is, if all of the lead sulfate crystals are not turned back into lead, how long does it take before they become so hard that they can not be converted or how quickly will sulfation re-buildup occur after being repaired? The answer is that varies--it might be weeks or months and depends on a number of factors such as the quality of the lead, temperature, plate chemistry, porosity, Depth-of-Discharge (DoD), electrolyte stratification, etc. The longer sulfation occurs, the larger and harder the lead sulfate crystals become. The positive plates will be light brown and the negative plates will be white.
Thus, sulfation is a huge problem for lead-acid batteries not being used, idled on a dealer`s or DC`s shelves, or in a UPS system standby deep discharged due to power cut, especially in hot temperatures leading to water lost.
12. Since sulfate buildup occurs more often with infrequently-used batteries, will I need Daceen-sz Technology even if a vehicle is operated on a frequent basis, like a car, truck,forklift, and EVs?
Even frequently-used batteries charged by the alternator on a consistent basis may suffer from sulfate accumulations. This is especially true for start up battery of cars, trucks, buses and power battery of Forklifts, E-Vehicles and Golf carts and other vehicles.
According to actual application cases and , it is possible for a vehicle to develop an undercharged battery if it is constantly driven at slow speeds and left idling for long periods, as in heavy traffic and combined with high electrical load conditions. If a vehicle is moving at slower speeds, idling a lot or suffering from an overtaxed electrical system the alternator is not allowed to charge at an optimum rate. The result is a battery that is not fully charged even though the vehicle is running all day. And since it isn't fully charged, it will begin to sulfate. A vicious circle is then created because the more the battery sulfated, the less energy it will accept and the battery will be undercharged even more. Finally, it is failed earlier because of[Battery Permanent Sulphation".
It is necessary by keeping the battery installation with Battery protector or regular maintenance every 6 months. Maintaining battery plates clean and keep battery like-new conditions for long time, successfully solve the problems above and increase the battery capacity leading to extend battery life.
13.Is it true that charging batteries in reverse polarity will desulfate the plates and prepare it for a better recharge?
Absolutely not. Keep in mind never do that.

14.How about the large current maintenance tools and chemical liquid addition method?
Actually, in the short term after being dealt with by large current and chemical addition, there is a certain effect in the following 6 months not more than 12 months. But it will hurt your battery plates or change your battery electrolyte physical properties. This method just can be used for only once for a given battery.
15. Will weather or temperature affect my battery?
Temperature and weather are a major factor in battery performance and life. At higher temperatures there is dramatically more chemical activity inside a battery than at lower temperatures. Proper ambient temperature is very important for the longer life: Too high temperature will lead the battery to be overcharged and water lost. Too low temperature will lead to battery deficit charged, which will shorten battery life. Therefore, it is required that the ambient Temp is about 25℃, and floating charge volt value is also set based on 20-25℃ . But in application, the battery is generally charged in the range of 5-35℃.
What many people don't realize is that extreme cases of heat and cold will increase the speed of sulfation buildup. When the weather starts to get hotter, the rate of sulfation buildup will actually double for every 10-degree increased. That means that if the temperature increases 20-degree, the rate of sulfation buildup on battery plates will increase 4times than before. So-.batteries stored or installed in vehicles in hotter weather have the high potential to earlier failed due to battery sulfation, much sooner than in cooler weather.
By the way, remember that the battery's electrolyte can be actually frozen if the battery is in an advanced state of discharge, and this could physically damage the lead plates:
1) At 1.270 specific gravity (100% charged) battery acid will freeze at -64℃,
2) At 1.200 specific gravity it will freeze at-27.5℃,
3) At 1.140 specific gravity (completely discharged) it will freeze at only -13.5℃.
16. Will Daceen-sz products, such as protector and chargers damage electrical systems on cars and other E-vehicles?
No, don`t worry about it.
It is not possible for any of our products to damage the electrical system on any vehicle. We have done many case testing and verification from 1998. Especially installed into military vehicles and 0% failure rate.
